Justin Blau has been friends with us for a long time. Not only has he pushed the boundaries of modern dance music and permanently influenced the styles within the space, but the way he has crafted his career is all-encompassing. Running a business and playing EDC mainstage don't have a ton of obvious similarities, but they both involve bringing people together and building a community. Justin, through his artist persona 3LAU, has become a master of community building in many ways, and we respect that.
When we approached him about playing a live set in the desert outside of Vegas it was a no-brainer. After sharing business insight and friendship for several years it was time to embark on our first creative collaboration. While we were in the dunes we had the chance to sit down and have a conversation with Justin about his career and journey as an artist.
